Join our team for a two day introductory workshop on the Atua Māori Pantheon, its meanings and supporting cultural imperatives, designed alongside the Atua Maori Symbolism Cards. These workshops are run on demand and a minimum of 5 participants are required for the workshop to run (maximum 24 participants).

Use the contact form below to register your interest in the Wānanga. When minimum participation numbers are reached, dates will be secured they will be released accordingly here.

Content will vary depending on season, timing and venues (in Rotorua). Hau Tākere is happy to arrange workshops in your area (please enquire) if the minimum participation numbers are meet (8+). Some of the content in the Atua Maori Symbolisim framework is customisable, however may include the following:

ATUA MĀORI - ATUATANGA | ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, SYSTEMS MAPPING
- Understanding of the Atua Māori Symbolism cards

- Analysis of the Atuatanga model and principles
- Introduction to a selection of new/unfamiliar Atua and their application
- Group exercises (understanding collective knowledge pools and synchronicities)
- Enviro-Biology and association to the anatomy

 

it may include other components such as:

- Intuitive reflections
- Instinctive readiness

 

META MAORI LEADERSHIP
- Understanding what Meta-Leadership through the Taiao and Atua Māori 
- Values propositioning to enact change
- Cultural therapy and Atua Symbolism as intervention tools
- Huahuatau exploration (What do we learn from those experiences?)
 

MAHI Ā TINANA
- Introduction to body work through Atua Symbolism 

 

TŪPUNA KAI
- Ancestral eating – its importance (including behavioural regulation and fasting)
- Pūrakau and Atua Maori association
